Snake Schedule

We may wish to discuss tweaking our schedule this week in light of the new raid wing dropping on Tuesday. Food for thought.

OK. I got those into a spreadsheet (/drools). Here's what Matthias taught me:

  • We have a couple of folks who should be fighting close to boss, as they have abnormally low fury, quickness, and alacrity for their sub-squad.
  • We may have one player over-capped on precision, as the Crit% was higher than the fury rate would justify.
  • Alacrity and quickness were pretty consistent, with the exception of one 2min passage.
  • We have at least two players wiggling too much in rain phase (move rate was at or above 50%, as compared to <10% for some).
  • We can be smarter about who we put in the heal-druid party to maximize gotl on our highest dps toons.
  • Mold's dps is shit.
  • our glyph of empowerment uptime is really really low; not sure if it's worth bringing.

And my initial impressions after perusing the Xera stats (Mini-games make it hard to parse fury/might/alacrity/quickness):

  • Might was maxed out almost all the time (we even overcapped a fair amount).
  • Some folks are standing too far from boss (fury, quickness, and alacrity rates).
  • One of us is likely over-capped on precision, given relative rates of crit and fury. But another one of us likely has too little precision.
  • Our seaweed users managed a max of 66% movement. Not sure if that can be improved or not, given the mini-games and waiting. Maybe we can wiggle on buttons?
  • We had some fury problems, some of which was likely exacerbated by folks standing too far from boss. But there were other issues on this particular run.
  • We brought one stone spirit, but I wonder if we need it.
  • Glyph of emp. rates were nice on this fight, but they could be better .

I realize that the nature of this fight doesn't help with glyph up time, but Glyph of empowerment is kinda important for AF generation. It's the only glyph I'm running on heal Druid. It also helps with condi cleanse and Gotl up time. I'm willing to try something else. Just thought I'd bring up why qT recommends it in this fight.

Maybe I just need to use it more strategically.

Gotcha. That's a helpful explanation. Your call, of course! Maybe the druids among us can think/talk it over before our next Matt attempt?

I already knew about the fury issue (from my own recordings). I'm working on it.

I will get rid of stone spirit. I just like the extra help. (<3 protection up time)

Will work on glyph of empowerment.

Regarding wiggling in rain phase, I think the movement metric is less important than a 'how many times you get knocked on your ass metric', which we probably don't have.  I wiggle after almost every bomb-spread to reset my stacks.  Maybe every other bomb spread idk.

EDIT: just looked at the raw stats, see what you mean.

Should have a full squad. Odd and Temerity are in, i believe (no rsvp T_T ) Twisted has limited availability this week because his young humans are doing some sleep training. Pyro is planning to fill in for him on Monday. We'll also be joined by a prospective new squad member, Dani.

I will most likely pop on tonight around 9 in case sub is needed but Im ok not running at all in hopes I can commit Tues-Weds this week.

The numbers are really interesting. Looks like I can do a better job with GotL on Xera. Also I have tried running sun, stone, and glyph of alignment as the 3rd utility and found that with sun our dps seems noticeably better and I don't really find damage mitigation to be essential on Xera. Its personal preference I suppose, and I am basing this on my perceived observations.
