Put that Fashion Wars to good use and enter Nearly Polite Cobra's First Annual Mad King Costume Contest! Here's how it works. There are 3 different categories: Silliest | Scariest | Prettiest You take a screenshot of your character in the costume and send it to me with the category you're entering, by the deadline (see below for details). I take the screenshots I get and upload them into a poll. People will vote anonymously on the winners for each category. At the end of the voting period, whichever has the most entries in each category will win! Rules You can only enter once per category. You may enter more than one category, but you can only win in one category. No pair costumes or screenshots with other people. Just you. You can choose the background to fit your entry, though. NO OUTFITS. That's just making it too easy. You can use Gemstore items, but they have to be single items, not outfits. Deadline All screenshots must be sent to me here on the forums by 11:59 PM on October 22nd. Prizes The winner of each category will receive: 5 Candy Corn Cobs 1 Mini Zuzu, Cat of Darkness A Limited Edition Forum Award

I haven't shared this on the old site. I made it a few months ago when we first tried no-updraft Gorsie. Green shows you where it's safe to stand during the breakbar phase. Red shows you where you might consider standing despite the black goop. Keep in mind that there are 6 pulses during the breakbar phase. The sixth will cover the whole floor--no safe spots. Might be useful for others prepping to do no-ud or simply to do slow breaks in pugs or in other squads.

Scare-eoke + Movie Night: Clue Sunday, October 30th at 6 PM Eastern (tentative) Do you love singing but aren't so sure if you're good at it? Do you enjoy performing Brittany Spears covers or other songs that tend to alarm people? This is for you. Each participant can sing up to 3 songs and will earn 5 gold per song (no matter what it sounds like, provided it's a full song), plus a Limited Edition Forum Award. There's no contest element; everyone wins! After the Scare-oke, stay for the Movie Night!
