Pug tryhards are the worst kind of tryhard. Guarantee all of the haters were baddies. I did some aerodrome testing across most of my characters a couple of days ago and thief wrecked all of them. I think the only thing I managed to beat thief on (and only by 1k) was staff tempest on a large hitbox. Granted I didn't spend a lot of time tightening up rotations but it was like a 5k DPS difference in most cases so I doubt it would have changed anything. Basically you can never go wrong bringing a thief IMO. Stupidly high damage, 3 dodges, best mobility, great breakbar, and shortest CD stun break in the game. Grats on your cannon running accomplishments. I will be more than happy to let you do evens in the future.
